# Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are subject to change at any time with or without prior warning. Notice WILL be given when a change is made. "Hosting Service" refers to the resources provided to host and run your Discord Bot.

## 1. Discord Server

1.1 The rules from the <Tooltip tip="These rules can be found in the Discord Bot Builder Discord Server linked below" headline="Server Rules" cta="DBB Discord Server" href="https://discord.gg/PAzxTDw">Discord Bot Builder Server</Tooltip> also apply within the DBB Hosting Service Discord Server.

1.2 All users must comply with [Discord's Terms of Service](https://discord.com/tos)

## 2. Panel

2.1 - Your server will not harm other servers or the hosting provider's machine(s).

2.2 - This Hosting Service is intended for use only by users that are building their own Discord bot using Discord Bot Builder. This is not intended nor should it be used for anything else.

2.3 - A user may only have 1 **free** server at a time <Tooltip tip="A user may earn additional free servers from community hosted events/giveaways within the DBB Hosting Service Discord Server." headline="2.2 Exceptions">(*Exceptions Apply*)</Tooltip>. The use of alternate accounts to circumvent this restriction will result in immediate termination of Hosting Service.

2.4 - If your server disrupts other servers or the machine resources. Additional resource limits will be applied to your server.

2.5 - Your bot must not violate [Discord's Developer Terms of Service](https://support-dev.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/8562894815383-Discord-Developer-Terms-of-Service) or [Discord's Developer Policy](https://support-dev.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/8563934450327-Discord-Developer-Policy)

## 3. Violations

3.1 - Depending on the severity of the violation, a user may recieve a warning, limit to Hosting Service, or a ban.

3.2 - Intentional violation of the Discord Terms of Service, Discord Developer Terms of Service, or Discord Developer Policy will result in immediate termination and ban from the Hosting Service.

3.3 - Intentional harm to the Hosting Service will result in immediate termination and ban from the Hosting Service.

3.4 - Minor unintentional harm to the Hosting Service may result in a warning, or a limit/restriction to the Hosting Service.

3.5 - Major or Severe unintentional harm to the Hosting Service will result in immediate termination and ban from the Hosting Service.
